Micro Series MM 1000
Bowl Size 450 mm / 400 mm Thickness 1 mm Sink Depth 240 mm Finished Polished Ukinox sinks are produced from high quality stainless steel (chrome-nickel 18/10). Stainless steel preserves its fine and clean look if the sink maintenance instructions are applied correctly.
After you finish using the sink, wipe off lime and water stains and rinse it again with water. Then dry the surface with a clean cloth by scrubbing. Please, use steel cream produced specially for steel materials periodically. After cleaning the surface with steel cream applied soft cloth or sponge, rinse with plenty of water and then dry it.
All acids, salt solutions, silver cleaning materials and wallpaper adhesives leave stains after couple of hours. If these materials contact the sink, clean, and rinse the surface with plenty of water and dry it with cloth immediately.
Do not leave easily rusted cast iron or other wet metallic materials in the sink for a long period of time, the surface will rust.
Cleaning/ scrubbing powders, hard surfaced sponges and brushes scratch the surface. AVOID USING THEM!
Scratches that occur during regular use do not lower the quality of sink. A very thin oxide layer is formed on the surface of stainless steel which protects it from possible corrosion and erosion.
Do not store chemical cleaning materials under the sink because chemical steam may damage your stainless-steel surface.
Stainless Steel And Granite Sinks
For best results, Ukinox recommends this unit be mounted by a professional installer. This sink is specifically designed to be under mounted in a solid surface countertop only. Do not install a damaged sink. lnspect carefully.
NOTE: The template included is only a guide. The actual sink and accessories should ALWAYS be present to ensure a perfect cut. UKINOX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AN IMPROPERLY CUT COUNTERTOP OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION
Create the cut-out in the desired location of the mounting surface using this template (or the .dxf file downloaded from our website). Make sure to compare the actual sink with the template being used to ensure a perfect fit. The size of the cut-out should be exact as this sink uses coordinating accessories which fit precisely with the cut out. Also be aware of the spacing requirements of any other products that will be mounted to the countertop next to the sink such as faucets or soap dispensers.
It will be the responsibility of the countertop supplier /installer to decide the ideal anchoring method based on the application and countertop material being used. Determine best placement of the clip brackets provided, ideally they should be evenly spaced around the sink ledge on all sides. Pre-drill holes and install anchors. Mounting screws and/or other hardware associated with anchoring not included. Attach clip brackets loosely to the countertop using selected anchor.
Apply a bead of silicone evenly along the bowl rim and / or along the underside of countertop.
Position and align sink evenly over the opening of the cut out. Press sink into silicone seal and partially tighten the clip brackets against the sink so it stays in place.
Check alignment one final time to ensure the sink opening is evenly aligned with the countertop cut out as outlined in the image below. Make adjustments as necessary to obtain perfect alignment.
Once satisfactory alignment is achieved, fully tighten clip brackets against the rim of the sink and remove excess silicone.
